After the first meetings the businessman who would be living in this penthouse had all the faith and gave us carte blanche in creating the place where he could recover from his journeys. We were involved from the start, which gave us the opportunity to decide on every small detail. Most furniture is custom designed for the space. Natural materials predominate, like the marble that was used on the floor and in furniture; the agate table is a good example of that. Originally the owner was a bit cautious to use vulnerable materials, but he fell for the beauty of the rich stones. To create extra privacy, we designed the bedroom in such a way that you first enter in the dressing room and find the bed behind a wall dressed in leather to serve as a large size headboard.
